Good Morning,
March is an exciting month
as we move from the bleakness of winter into the beauty of spring. I am looking forward to this month of new
life in the physical world and in the life of our church. March is a great month to get back into the rhythm
and habit of Sunday School, Morning worship and the other activities and
services through the week. March is the
month we begin to prepare our hearts and invite others to join us for the
celebration of Easter followed by our Spring Revival in April. March is a great month for renewal in our
hearts as we live for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Begin making your plans to
be at each service of our Spring Revival, April 26-29 with Pastor Elijah Wanje
from Ridgeways Baptist Church in Nairobi, Kenya. Who are lost friends and family you can begin
praying for now?
This Sunday, March 8 is
Time Change Sunday as we move our clocks forward one hour. I encourage you to make the move Saturday
afternoon. Spring forward; 3:00 PM will
become 4:00 PM. Enjoy the extra hour of
daylight in the afternoons.
The RightNow Video of
the Week is “Knowing Christ.” Join Bible
teacher and Pastor R. C. as he explores the “I AM” statements of Jesus. This series will go right along with our
studies on Sunday mornings. This first
video study is “I am the Bread of Life.”

This

We
are planning a return Israel Pilgrimage for February/March 2021. I encourage every person to make the trip to
Israel at least once in your lifetime, if possible. There is nothing like walking in the places
where Jesus walked, and seeing firsthand the places of the Bible. I hope to have a firm date and more
information in the coming week. Begin
planning now to travel with us to the Holy Land in 2021.
I remind you of the
additional bathrooms available on Sunday mornings in the Youth Area on the
floor just under the Sanctuary and in the Christian Life Center.

Here’s the News for the
week:

The Women on
Missions will meet next Monday, March 2 at 6:30 PM in the Christian Life
Center. All ladies are invited to
attend. Jill Wilmore and Elizabeth Davis
are hosting the meeting.

The Young at
Heart will have their monthly meeting and potluck luncheon on Tuesday, March 10
at 11:30 AM in the Christian Life Center.
Natasha Sensabaugh, Activities Director at the Pavilion Assisted Living
will present our program. In addition,
several of the residents at the Pavilion will join us for our luncheon. Bring a covered dish, or two and join us for this
special program and guests.

Tickets
are available for the 2nd Annual Men’s Conference, March 27-28 at the
Smith County Ag Center. This event will
begin with a Wild Game Dinner/Fish Fry and program on Friday night, March 27 at
6:00 PM. Saturday, March 28 begins at
8:00 AM with a big breakfast followed by a program and competition games. Games include hatchet throwing, knife
throwing archery, casting, and fire starting.
All men and boys are invited to be a part of this special weekend. Tickets are $5 and include both meals, programs,
and games. See Bro. Matt or Bro. Tim for
tickets.

A
new semester of GriefShare, a 13-week grief support group has just begun on
Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM at the Smith County Chamber of Commerce Building, 969
Upper Ferry Road. For more information

made for the mission trips for the year.
