FBC Carthage E-News
December 3, 2018
Good Morning,
The New York Mission Team
has had a great weekend distributing coats, prayer-walking, and seeing the
sights of the city. The remainder of the
team who stayed for a Sunday activity at Bridge Community Church will return
today around 1:00 PM. Pray for their
safe travels. Thanks again to all who
donated coats, hats, and gloves. We were
able to help almost 100 families and distributed well over 300 coats. Pray for New City Church and Bridge Community
Church as they continue to reach people for Jesus Christ in New York City. It is a blessing to partner with these two
churches.

Our goal for the Lottie
Moon Offering for International Missions is $15,000. During this season of giving, may your best
gift, your largest gift, your greatest gift be to the One whose birthday we are
celebrating. Giving a generous gift to
the Lottie Moon Offering shares the good news of Jesus around the world and
proclaims that He is the Savior. Happy
Birthday, Jesus!
Speaking of the SBC
International Mission Board, a special community movie night will be held on
Friday, December 7, 6:30 PM at the Ag Center.
The movie will be “The Insanity of God”, a movie from the International Mission
Board sharing the inspiring testimonies of missionaries and persecuted
believers throughout the world who courageously share their faith in
Jesus. There is no charge for the movie
and everyone is invited to attend. Here
is a promo trailer for the movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XX6SWxwKZSE
Have a blessed week,
Bro. Tim
