FBC Carthage E News for November 26, 2018

FBC Carthage E-News
November 26, 2018

Good Morning,

The donated coats are in New York City awaiting the team’s arrival later this week and distribution on Saturday.  Thanks to Stephen Russell and TJ Dixon for carrying the coats to New York.  Please pray for the team as we prepare to travel and share this weekend in “Coats for the City.”

Thanks to all who helped last week with the packing and distribution of the 890 Operation Christmas Child boxes and the 30 Thanksgiving boxes.

The annual Carthage Christmas Parade and Singing on the Steps was a lot of fun yesterday.  I appreciate all who came out to share Christmas carols with the community.  Thanks for those making and serving the hot chocolate and coffee as well.

The Christmas season is here as we enjoy the carols and see the beautiful decorations of the season.  The church decorations are exceptionally festive this year.  Our four weeks of Advent will begin this coming Sunday as we explore Luke’s account of the birth of Jesus.  Several special services and activities will take place this month and you will want to make special note and plan to attend:
