FBC Carthage E-News
August 6, 2018
Good Morning,
This week begins a new
school year as the students go back today for half a day and then start full
time on Wednesday. During this week take
a moment each day and pray for the students, teachers, and administrators as
they begin this New Year. We have a
great group of teachers, administrators, and workers in our church. Listed below are the names of the 32 school
related workers from FBC Carthage. Let’s
do our part and pray for these who serve faithfully in the education arena. Thank you teachers, administrators, and all
who serve the needs of the children!

AWANA begins a new year this
Sunday, August 12 at 5:30 PM in the Christian Life Center at the bottom of Fite
Avenue. AWANA is a Bible Club for
preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students. Each night the children have a delicious
meal, learn Scripture, play games, and have a lot of fun. Spread the word and invite all the children
to be a part of AWANA 2018-19. Also,
remember we have Sunday Evening Worship Service each Sunday night at 6:00 PM
for adults. There is something for you
each Sunday night at FBC Carthage.
Congratulations to Nora
Davis on her baptism yesterday and we rejoice with Eric Shaw making his
profession of faith in the morning service.
God is moving at FBC Carthage and we are celebrating those coming to
faith in Jesus Christ!
Thank you to John and
Rhonda Etheridge for opening their home and hosting our Church Picnic and
Fireworks Spectacular. John always does
an amazing job with the fireworks production he presents each year. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
Our Fall Tent Revival will
be September 16-19 in the upper parking lot at Crump Paris Park. Dr. David Levell, Pastor of First Baptist
Church Millington and the current President of the Tennessee Baptist Convention
will be our Evangelist. The theme will
be “The John 3:16 Challenge.” Begin
inviting friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to join you for the Tent
Revival. Leading in worship each evening
will be the Nesbitt Family. A special
Prayer Rally with all the churches involved will be held on Sunday, August 26
at 6:00 PM at Crump Paris Park. Watch
for more information in the weeks ahead.
Have a blessed week,
Bro. Tim
