FBC Carthage E-News
February 5, 2018
Good Morning,
Wow! What a game!
After evening service I watched the last quarter and a half of the Super
Bowl and was not disappointed.
Regardless of which team you were cheering for, it was an intense
game. Here is a great video we showed
during the evening service that highlights several of the Christians on the
Eagles’ team: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bnEY13vAok Pray for the Believers on both teams that
they may use the opportunities they have to share boldly the gospel of Jesus
Christ.
I encourage you to continue
to Pray 429 for boldness and share a gospel conversation with someone this week
as the Lord gives you opportunity. You
don’t have to be a NFL football player to have opportunities to share about
Jesus.
During January we
emphasize the Sanctity of Human Life and receive a special offering for the
Pregnancy Help Center here in Carthage. As
of today we have received $1071.58 for this important ministry. If you didn’t get a chance to give during
this emphasis you can still give through the church or directly to the Center
by going to their website and donating online:

Pray4TN, our Bless Every
Home emphasis, now has 23 persons from FBC Carthage praying for 1139
households. What a great blessing to be
able through this technology to pray for your neighbors by name. If you are not signed up, simply go to www.blesseveryhome.com and click “Sign-Up Now” and follow the instructions. If you don’t have access to a computer contact
me and I can help you get signed up and give you a list of your neighbors. Let’s bless every home in Smith County as we
pray, care, share, and disciple our neighbors.
Here is the Bible Reading
