FBC Carthage E-News for April 24, 2017

FBC Carthage E-News

April 24, 2017

Good Morning,

Two weeks and counting!  Two weeks until our Spring Revival, May 7-10 with Bro. Kewon Foster and the Nesbitt Family.  Please be praying this week and next for this special series of services and for God’s Holy Spirit to move in power.  The services will begin at 10:45 AM on Sunday, May 7 and continue at 6:30 PM each evening thru Wednesday, May 10. Pray for Bro. Kewon as he prepares his heart and the messages God would have for us.  Pray for the Nesbitt family as they prepare to lead us in worship.  Most of all, pray for lost and un-churched family and friends to attend the services with you.  They will come if you will invite them.

The theme of our Spring Revival will be “Impact” as we celebrate the impact Jesus has on our lives and as we are stirred to make an impact for Christ in our homes, our community, our nation, and around the world.  May this truly be a time of great impact in the name of Jesus Christ.

On Sunday, May 7 we will have a special church-wide luncheon following the morning service in honor of our 2017 graduates.  This will also be a great time to fellowship with Bro. Kewon and the Nesbitt family.  Bring a covered dish and celebrate with the graduates and their families.

In preparation for our Spring Revival, we will continue to go out into the community on visitation tonight and next Monday night at 6:00 PM.  We will meet for prayer at 6:00 PM in the Christian Life Center and then distribute invitations to the revival to our friends and neighbors.

I am asking that next week be a special week of prayer and preparation for the Spring Revival.  If you would like to host a cottage prayer meeting in your home please contact me or Bro. Matt.  In all our activities and gatherings next week, let us have a special time of prayer for the revival and the impact on souls.

Sunday, April 30 will be the final night of AWANA for the 2016-17 school year.  Thank you to Michael Collins and all the AWANA workers for preparing meals, leading in games, and teaching the children and youth this year in AWANA.

The Missions Committee met last week and discussed several mission trips and projects for the Summer/Fall 2017.  These are listed at the end of this E-News.  Plan to be personally involved in some way through missions this year.  Make an IMPACT!

This is the final week for our “Trial Period” for the Right Now Media subscription.  If you have found this resource helpful and would like to see it continued to be offered please send me an email tfrank@fbccarthage.com this week.  We are delighted to offer this resource if it is helpful and being used.

Have a blessed week as you rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus,

Bro. Tim
