FBC Carthage E-News
September 15, 2013
Good morning,
As the official last week
of summer, fall starts on Sunday, September 22, it is good to stop and reflect
over these summer months and consider all the Lord has done. This has been a great summer of missions and
ministry at FBC Carthage. As reflect on
this summer of sharing, some of the events I reflect on are:
·
Youth ReFuel· Vacation Bible School
· Youth Camp in Myrtle Beach
· Mission Montana
· The Smith County Fair
· Block Party in Cincinnati, Ohio
· Anna Maxwell’s mission trip to Dominican Republic
· Backyard Bible Clubs at Project Circle and Defeated Creek Campground
· Luncheon for County Teachers
· Beginning of a new year in Sunday School and AWANA
· Our first two 5th Quarter Youth Fellowships
We thank the Lord for a great summer to serve Him and look with excitement and anticipation to the fall and holiday seasons. There are many ways to serve the Lord throughout the year as we faithfully follow Him.
Have a blessed week,
