FBC Carthage E-News for April 25, 2010

FBC Carthage E-News

April 25, 2011

Good Morning,

Wow! Yesterday was a great day of celebration. The service was fantastic. One of the members commented that he would have paid to get to hear the music and be a part of the worship. (He also said the message was ok:) It was a wonderful time praising the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

A special thank you goes to all who participated in the resurrection celebration service. Also, an extra special thank you to all who helped set-up and take down the stage and equipment.

We are blessed to be able to use the High School auditorium for these special services. As you see one of the school board members or one of the administrators from the school, be sure and let them know how much we appreciate them and their hospitality. The auditorium is the perfect size for our services and gives plenty of room for us to invite friends, family, and other guests.

Speaking of guests, if you know some of the guests who attended yesterday’s service, take a minute and call them. Thank them for their attendance and invite them to come and be with us again. Let them know the regular service times and invite them to join you in Sunday School. Friendliness and connection to others takes all of us working together. Let someone know how glad you were to have them with us this past Sunday.

Before I share the news, I want to thank Zeke and others who covered for me on the Good Friday Service. We had gotten a call that Fran’s dad was critically ill in Knoxville and needed to come immediately. He made it through that crisis time but is still in the critical care unit of the hospital. Thank you for your prayers for us and for Fran’s dad, Paul Herald.

Live with the hope, joy, and purpose of the resurrection of Jesus. Have a blessed week.
Bro. Tim
