FBC Carthage E-News for September 13, 2010

FBC Carthage E-News
September 13, 2010

Good morning,

This is the week we have been praying toward, the week of the Beth Moore Simulcast. This Saturday, September 18, FBC Carthage will host the Beth Moore Living Proof Conference live by simulcast. We have placed a link on the church web site with information and a personal message from Beth Moore. Check it out at
www.fbccarthage.com.

Ladies, it is not too late to get your ticket. You can purchase tickets for $10 (which includes lunch) from the church office or at Magnolia’s Gifts. This will be an event to invite your friends to attend. Call or email Kandy Smith with any questions/concerns. Nothing too small or too big (for God!). Phone: 735-9623 or 489-6912 or
ksmith90@utk.edu.

Let’s all be praying for this important event. Pray for:
· Beth Moore and Travis Cottrell as they lead in worship and share God’s Word.
· The ladies as they gather to come with hearts and minds ready and anticipating to enter the presence of the Lord and hear Him speaking.
· Everything to work correctly with the technical links to the conference.
· God to be glorified and exalted in everything that is said and done.
· The Holy Spirit to have freedom to work in hearts and lives.
· Last minute details to be kept to a minimum with everyone able to focus on the conference.

One last work on the Beth Moore Simulcast: Parking. Here are some ideas for parking for Saturday to make sure we have plenty of room for all the ladies:

Parking Options for the Beth Moore Simulcast, Saturday, September 18, 2010
· Limited parking on Fite Ave. (on the north side of our church building)
· Parking across the street in our parking lot
· Parking down the street in the Methodist Church parking lot
· Parking across the street and up the hill in the Smith County High School parking lot (shuttle service will be available/ two block walk if you’re able)
· Please do NOT park in the Citizens Bank parking lot on the south side of our church building. The bank generously allows our church to use that parking on Sundays and Wednesday nights but will be open on Saturday, so we need to park elsewhere.

Have a great week,

Bro. Tim

Here’s the news for the week:

1. We are delighted to welcome Hailey Hendry as a new member of FBC Carthage. She made her Profession of Faith in the 10:45 AM service and will baptized soon. Pray for Hailey as she begins her walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
