FBC Carthage E-News for May 10, 2010

FBC Carthage E-News
May 10, 2010

Good Morning,
I hope all mothers had a blessed Mother’s Day yesterday and received praise and appreciation from their children and husbands. We had great services yesterday as we honored moms and studied the characteristics found in Proverbs 31 of a godly woman. If you were out yesterday you can listen to the message on the church web site
www.fbccarthage.com. Go to the media page and click on “Listen to Sermons.”

If you missed the video yesterday, or you would like to send it to a mother for encouragement, click on this link:

This week is an exciting week for many in our community as the local High Schools have their graduation services. Gordonsville High School graduation will be on Friday, May 14. Lindsey Angel
Timmy Bush

Kelsy Eatherly

Wade Johnson
Paige Upchurch

Our college graduates are:
Joe Paul Tackett Tennessee Technological University

LaShae Johnson Middle Tennessee State University

A special thanks to all who have been ministering to those affected by last week’s flood. We have had opportunities as a church to do several lunches and meals for the displaced persons at the shelter and directly to the people working in their homes. I know many from the church have been helping friends, family and neighbors during the flood. Thank you for responding to the needs as you see them.

Have a blessed week and remember there are many still in need throughout our community.

Bro. Tim
