The BIG news for the week is our plans to return to one morning worship service beginning Sunday, May 23.  The Deacons and Staff recommend to move Sunday School to 9:00 AM and Morning Worship to 10:00 AM.  It has been almost a year since we went to the two services due to social distancing concerns of COVID.  We have gradually moved through the past several months to prepare for a return to a one service format.  The formal recommendation will come to the church business meeting next Wednesday, May 12 at 6:30 PM.  If you have questions or concerns on this new schedule please contact Bro. Tim or one of our deacons to share your thoughts.  This has been a year of change and flexibility.  Thank you for your willingness to adapt and change.

This Sunday is Mother’s Day, May 9 and we will have Baby Dedication in both Morning Services.  To sign up to be a part of this special time, contact Audrey Russell, Bro. Tim, or call the Church Office at 615 735-1929.

The May Business Meeting will be Wednesday, May 12 at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary.

The Women on Missions will have their monthly meeting tonight, May 3 at 6:30 PM in the Christian Life Center.  All ladies are invited to attend.

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner, June 7-11.  Please make your plans to serve in this important week as we share the gospel with children and youth in our community.  See Jan Trainham or Tina Gantenbein for more information.

The RightNow Media video series of the week is “Lessons from the Land.”   See the sites of the life of Jesus in these 4-5 minute video lessons.   Grab your Bible and pack your bags for adventure as Barry Britnell takes you on a journey through to the Bible lands! Visit the places where Jesus lived and taught: step inside a first-century synagogue, take a boat across the Sea of Galilee, and walk through the busy streets of Jerusalem. Each video is packed full of great visuals and thought-provoking applications. Lessons from the Land is your children's ticket to the Bible lands - no passport required!  Check out the 1-minute trailer for more information:
