FBC Carthage E-News
April 26, 2021
Good Morning,
Yesterday, April 25 we recognized Bro. Matt
Davis for his service and prayed for him and his family as they begin a new
chapter in their ministry. For the time
being they will continue to live in Smith County and you may see them out and
about at the store and at various community events. Bro. Matt served FBC Carthage for more than
five years and I am thankful for his friendship and work. The Lord has blessed us with this family and
we wish them God’s richest blessings in their lives and ministry.

The RightNow Media video
series of the week is “Grace Based Parenting” by Tim Kimmel. Too much of today's Christian parenting is
based on fear: fear of the world . . . fear of America's liberal culture . . .
fear of other parents' and the church's opinions. Best-selling author Dr. Tim
Kimmel says fear, "is an excellent way to wreck your kids." Grace based parenting, on the other hand,
relies on God's love, replicates His forgiveness and commitment to His
children, and displaces fear as a motivator for every behavior. Check out the trailer: https://www.rightnowmedia.org/Content/Series/315?episode=Trailer
