Good Morning,
We began a new series in the Sunday Morning
Services as we explore the Lordship of Jesus and how we can prepare for Life’s
Final Exam. 2 Corinthians 5:9-11 makes
it very clear that believers in Jesus will stand before Him and give an account
of how they lived their lives and used the resources He has provided. If you

This Sunday, April 25 will be a time of recognition
and appreciation for Bro. Matt Davis and his family as he finishes his work
with us at FBC Carthage. We will
recognize Bro. Matt in both morning services.
I encourage you to express your personal thanks to Bro. Matt for his 5
years of service.
Thank you to all who came out for the Pregnancy
Help Center Fish Fry. We had a wonderful
turn-out and learned a lot for future fish fry fundraisers. Special thanks to those who helped in the
event. If you were not able to come out
for the fish fry, you can still give to the work of the Pregnancy Help Center
by texting the keyword LIFE to 615 492-8661.
Attention Men:
A special Wild Game/Fish Fry Dinner and one night Men’s Conference will
be held on Friday, April 23 at First Baptist Church Gordonsville. If you have any wild game, bring a dish
cooked to the meal.
The Personnel Committee is
seeking to fill the Church Custodian position.
Interested persons can contact the committee by texting the Keyword “Clean”
to (615) 395-6161. If you or someone you
know is interested please text the word “Clean” to the number above and
complete the information form that will pop up.

We will be recognizing our graduates on Sunday,
May 2 in the morning services. If you or
your family member is graduating for high school or college please contact the
Church Office at (615) 735-1929. We will
also include college graduates from 2020 Summer / Winter graduations. You can email pictures to secretary@fbccarthage.com
On Mother’s Day, May 9 we will
have Baby Dedication available in both Morning Services. To sign up to be a part of this special time,
contact Audrey Russell, Bro. Tim, or call the Church Office at 615 735-1929.
We continue to need volunteers
to clean the church each week. We will
gather on Fridays at 3:00 PM. You can
also come at a time of your convenience by contacting Bro. Tim or call the
Church Office at 615 735-1929. Could you give an hour this week as we prepare
for Sunday and the many ministries that take place at FBC Carthage.
Vacation Bible School is
just around the corner, June 7-11.
Please make your plans to serve in this important week as we share the
gospel with children and youth in our community. See Jan Trainham or Tina Gantenbein for more
information.
