FBC Carthage E-News
March 15, 2021
AWANA, our preschool, children’s, and youth
discipleship program had a wonderful restart last night with 61 in
attendance! We will meet each Sunday
evening through May 23 at 5:30 PM in the Christian Life Center. There are classes from babies through High
School. It is exciting to get this
important part of our weekly church ministry up and running. Parents, bring your children this Sunday for
AWANA.
Speaking of classes, please pray for our
children today as all public school classes resume traditional learning with
all students attending in-person classes every day. This is a big step for the schools as they
move forward from the pandemic hybrid scheduling. Pray for the teachers, administrators, and
support personnel.
A special “Thank You” to those who came and
helped clean the church building last week.
We will continue this clean volunteer program for a few weeks as we seek
a new custodian. We will meet again this Friday, March 19 at 3:00
PM. Thank you for your help.

The RightNow Media video
series of the week is “Lessons from the Land,” a virtual adventure as Barry
Britnell takes you on a journey through to the Bible lands! Visit the places
where Jesus lived and taught: step inside a first-century synagogue, take a
boat across the Sea of Galilee, and walk through the busy streets of Jerusalem.
Each video is packed full of great visuals and thought-provoking applications. Check
out this video from the synagogue in Magdala where Jesus would have actually
been. Our recent Holy Land Pilgrimage
visited this exact same site! https://www.rightnowmedia.org/Content/KidsShow/479706?episode=1
