FBC Carthage E-News
February 25, 2019
Pray for several members
of FBC Carthage who are in Israel today.
They are experiencing the Holy Land and walking where Jesus walked. Last week they had a rocky start with a one-day
delay flying out, but everything else has gone smoothly. Pray for their return flight thisd week and
the memories they will carry back to share with us.
We had nine persons for
the information meeting yesterday for the trip to Israel on September
15-24. There is still plenty of room and
time to register to be a part of this trip.
If you would like more information contact me, Bro. Tim Frank or go
online to www.go-yael.com/sep2019/ and use
the password sep.
I invite and encourage all
men to participate in this weekend’s Smith County Men’s Conference, March 1-2
at FBC Gordonsville. There will be a Wild Game Dinner on Friday night at 6:00
PM followed by a program. Saturday
morning will begin with a big breakfast at 8:00 AM followed by a program and
then areas of competition. These
competition areas will be archery, casting, knife throwing, hatchet throwing
and fire starting. We have several extra
tickets at church for you and your friends.
The tickets are only $5 which includes both meals and the program. Contact Bro. Tim or Bro. Matt for your
tickets.
During the Sunday
evening service we watched an encouraging video from the Skit Guys entitled
“God’s Chisel.” It is a great reminder
that God is working in your life to make you more like His Son, Jesus. You are a masterpiece because God doesn’t
make junk. Check it out for a lift this

Ask God for an opportunity
to share the Roman’s Road of Salvation with someone this week. Use the card from the bulletin or share the
video we saw in the morning service.
Think of ways you can share God’s great salvation with those around
you. Here’s the video link: https://www.gotquestions.org/Romans-road-salvation.html
Have a blessed week,
Bro. Tim

The Sew-n-Sews

dresses and boys shorts, ½ to 1 inch wide elastic, and ribbon for straps on the

great. Monetary donations can be made, as well, for the ladies to purchases
these items. Just mark you envelope “Sew ‘n Sews.” All garments made throughout
