FBC Carthage E-News for April 2, 2018.

FBC Carthage E-News
April 2, 2018

Good Morning,
Easter Sunday was a great day of worship and praise at FBC Carthage!  The Children’s Choir and the Sanctuary Choir both did an amazing job in praise to our risen Savior, Jesus Christ.  The attendance was fabulous and the whole spirit of the service was exciting.  Easter Sunday is truly the high day of worship for Believers.  It is the Sunday we are reminded over and over again the reason Jesus came, lived, and died on the cross.  Easter Sunday is all about the Resurrection and the victory Jesus made in conquering sin, death, hell, and the grave for each of us.  Hallelujah!  What a Savior!  Let’s live in that victory this week.  Let’s share that victory with someone this week.  He is risen!  He is risen indeed!

We had about 30 present for the campground service yesterday morning at Defeated Creek.  Thanks to Ray and Sharon Raymond and Larry Vanhouter for leading in music.

I want to say again a special “Thank You” to Matt Davis and Brad Tackett for preaching and filling in for me while I am away.  In addition to the Sunday services, Bro. Matt also conducted two funerals and preached at the Good Friday service in my absence.  We are blessed to have such a willing and capable servant of Christ.

This is a special week for children, youth, and our teachers as they are off for Spring Break.  Here are several special events planned for the youth this week during Spring Break.  Contact Bro. Matt for more information:
