Good Morning,
Thank you to everyone who
helped make the special Christ in the Passover evening a great blessing. The food was delicious and decorations were
beautiful. A special thanks to those who
cared for the children during the program.
It went a little longer than expected and I appreciate their patience
and understanding. A big event like this
takes many people to accomplish and I appreciate the work that was given in so
many areas.
This Saturday, March 24 is
our Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 AM.
We will meet in the Christian Life Center and have the egg hunts in the
grassy areas around the church. There
will be several different egg hunts by age groups, for babies through children through
10 years of age. In addition we will
have games, inflatables, face painting, and food. Invite your family and friends to come with
you. This will be an Easter Egg
Extravaganza!
This year’s Good Friday
service will be held at New Middleton Baptist Church on Friday, March 30 at
6:30 PM. This will be the third year for
us to join with the churches of the New Salem Baptist Association for this
remembrance of the price Jesus paid on the cross for our sins.
Our 2018 Easter Sunday
Celebration will be on Sunday, April 1 (Yes, April Fool’s Day) at 10:30
AM. We will have Sunday School at 9:30
AM and dismiss a little early for the service.
In addition to a special musical presentation by the choir and a
Biblical message on the Resurrection, we will observe the Lord’s Supper and
proclaim His death, burial, and resurrection through the bread and juice. Invite your family and friends to join you

Remember to be praying for
the North American Mission Board and the missionaries throughout the United
States and Canada as they serve the Lord and proclaim the gospel. We are receiving the Annie Armstrong Offering
for North American Missions this month and the entire offering given on Easter
Sunday will go to missions. Give a
special gift in honor and thanksgiving for the gift Jesus gave as He died on

This week is the release
of the new motion picture “Paul, Apostle of Christ”, a movie about the life of
the Apostle Paul. It is showing in
theatres, including the Roxy in Lebanon and the AMC Highland in

Attention All
Ladies! The Bride of Christ will be a
Women’s Special Event and Dinner will be Saturday, April 14, at 5 pm. In addition to great fellowship, delicious dinner,
and an inspirational speaker, ladies are invited to present their wedding dress
in a parade of wedding gowns. You may wear it yourself or someone will model it
for you. Lori Davis from Central Baptist Church in Crossville will be our guest
speaker. To have your dress represented see Katie Denney or Lisa Reece. If you
would like to host a table for dinner, see Haley Wilkerson.
