FBC Carthage E-News
August 9, 2010
Good Morning,
Wow! What a POWER-ful week! I hope each of you had a chance to be in at least one of the Power Team services at the Ag Center. They are an amazing group of believers. There were over 250 decisions for Jesus Christ during the five nights! What a glorious event to be a part of, right here in Smith County.
Check out Zeke’s awesome pictures of the Power Team Crusade on his Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/album.php?aid=258435&id=584229831&ref=mf
I want to say a special “Thank-you” to all those who served this past week with the Power Team. There were many for FBC Carthage who gave time and effort to make the event come together. I also want to publicly say thank you to all the churches who worked together for the glory of God and the exaltation of Jesus Christ.
Please pray for those making decisions during the crusade and the churches as we follow-up with the decisions. I have already had one of the families call and share a beautiful story of their daughter coming to Christ last night. These are important and exciting days!
Let me remind you of the changes in schedules and locations that begin this week:
Wednesday night’s schedule is the same with the exception that the choir rehearsal will begin at 7:30 PM. The big changes on Wednesday nights will be the location. The adult prayer time and Bible study will move to the sanctuary and begin at 6:30 PM. The youth worship will move to the Christian Life Center and begin at 6:30 PM. This will provide the youth plenty of room to expand and grow through the school year. Children and preschool classes will meet as they have been meeting.
Sunday night’s schedule will change as follows:
5:30-7:00 PM AWANA in Christian Life Center
6:00 – 7:00 PM Evening Worship Service in Sanctuary
It is hoped that this change in schedule will encourage more parents to come into the sanctuary for the evening worship service while your children are in AWANA.
Have a great week and remember to pray for those making decisions during the Power Team crusade.
Bro. Tim
