Good Morning,

This is going to be an exciting week as I travel to Youth Camp in Orange Beach, Alabama with 42 youth and leaders. Pray for each one as we experience Student Life Camp 2010. Listed below is the Summer Camp Prayer Guide we used last night in the service.
Please pray for:
o Pastor Zeke
o Students; life changing experiences
o Camp Leaders
o Safe travel
o Positive attitudes and obedient spirit among all campers
o Camp Pastor David Platt and Worship Leader Charlie Hall
o Other churches attending the camp – 2500 in all
o Student Life Staff
o Genuine decision making among our students and leaders
o Our personal witness opportunities to the hotel staff and others we come in contact

Next Sunday, July 4, will be our annual cookout with other churches in our association. We will meet at Defeated Creek Campground Pavilion at 5:00 PM and eat around 5:30 PM. The church will furnish the hamburgers and hot dogs and fixins. Everyone is asked to bring side dishes, deserts, and soft drinks of your choice. In addition to the great meal and good fellowship, we will have a commissioning service for the twenty persons going from our association on mission to Northeast Tennessee. Invite a friend to come with you to the 4th of July Cookout.

A prayer service in preparation for the Power Team Crusade will be held on Friday, July 2 at 1:00 PM at the Ag Center. We will be meeting to pray each week leading up to the special services on August 4-8.

Thanks for praying for our youth and leaders this week. I believe the Lord is doing a great work in the youth of our community. May revival and spiritual awakening come to this area through the transformed lives of the youth.
