Kenya Team Report for February 5, 2008

February 5, 2008

Greetings from Kenya,

It has been a great last day of ministry at Tigoni refugee camp.  We went one last time up the mountain with members of Ridgeways Baptist Church to the camp and shared with the people.  We helped bring two loads of wood to the camp, prepare for cooking, share with the children, and prayed with the Pastors.  Several members of the team went around doing last minute projects.

After we returned to Ridgeways we had a blessing.  The church had prepared an afternoon tea fellowship and we shared how the Lord had blessed us with each other.  The Lord has done a great work with Ridgeway and Stevens Street together.  I am praying that Stevens Street will join in a three year partnership with this godly church.  They had a cake for us with Thank You written to the team.  We said our good-byes until Sunday and headed back to the Mission House for supper and to get ready for the two day safari to Amboseli National Park.

Because we will be away on safari, there will not be a post on February 6.  Pray for a safe trip and an enjoyable experience with the wildlife of Africa.  Lions, elephants, rhinos, monkeys, baboons, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, gazelles, cape buffalos, zebras, hyenas, etc.   I will give all the great details on the day we return.

The weeks have passed quickly and we will be back in Cookeville soon.  Thank you for your prayers and concern while we have been in Africa.  God has worked in so many ways that only time will tell the doors that have been opened, the hearts that have been touched, and the ministry that has been extended in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Keep Praying,

Tim Frank
