Oh, the difference one day makes.
As we were gathering for breakfast this morning the news came of an official in the Kenyan government had been killed and it was anticipated that there could be difficulties. Because of this the team stayed within the compound for the day to see how things progress. We are very safe in the compound and at this time are not in any sense of fear or anxiety. The mission compound is about 30 miles away from the area that is the hardest hit. The compound is surrounded by a nicer area that helps maintain a greater sense of security and safety. There are many prayers going up for the situation in Kenya and as others hear of the unrest the prayers will be multiplied. All members of the team are fine.
As news is updated I will update this blog. Please keep praying for the team, the missionaries, and the people of Kenya.
